New Blog & Updates!

It’s been a while since we’ve made an entry on this blog, as we temporarily closed our doors during the winter months this year to reassess and upgrade our business plans. As of right now, we are taking bookings again for the 2011 season and we’re really excited to start shooting again, beginning around the middle of April. We absolutely can’t wait to start meeting and working with new and past clients over the coming year, and we’re confident we’ll provide an even better product and service than last year.

The changes we made over the winter include everything from our pricing structure, to equipment upgrades, to creating a new home for our photography – Our New Blog! - and everything in between. Please, check out our new blog and let us know what you think. All of our new work will be posted there from now onward, as well as some highlights from 2010 which are already there.

As mentioned, we’ve changed our pricing structure in order to continue to bring you a wonderful, high quality product. As a special offer, the first five Lifestyle bookings we take this year will receive last year’s rates. So book soon! The early bird gets the worm!

We’d also like to thank everyone for their encouragement and interest in what we do, even during our short hiatus this winter. It’s a great feeling to know that people love what we do, because we love to do it! It also serves as motivation for us to continue providing a pleasant and fun experience, while capturing the special moments in your lives in our own special way.

Itsy Bitsy One- Georgie

Family – Janes

Stephanie contaced us a while back to photograph her family. While it wasn’t summer temperatures, it was a little warmer than usual, as most of this year has been. What should have been more along the lines of a winter shoot, was more like a fall shoot, and that was just fine with all of us.

We had to reschedule a couple of times before we found a time that could work with both of our schedules, but when this family showed up, it seemed like they could do no wrong. Every photo we took seemed like it was going to be a keeper. It was certainly a stress free shoot, and the time just flew!

Thank you for being so easy to work with, and for being such a great family to photograph. We hope you enjoy your photos.

Little Ones – Lucas & Family

Jodi contacted us to photograph her son, Lucas and the family. We had the idea of taking some photos with a crisp, snowy, winter back drop. We all arrived on location, and we lasted about three minutes. It was absolutely freezing! We went back to Jodi and Dennis’s house to continue the shoot, and had a really fun time. On top of this being a great family to work with, it turned out Lucas had some awesome toys and keep us all entertained.

Itsy Bitsy Ones – Reid & Family

We were really excited when Francine contacted us to photograph the newest member of their family, Reid. You might remember Francine and Joey from back in April when we got together to do a Baby Bumps photo shoot. It was a ton of fun to photograph them then, and it was even more fun this time round now that Reid can participate. This little boy was an absolute angel. We loved taking these photos, not just because Reid is absolutely gorgeous and really well behaved, but because he seemed to know exactly what was going on. It was like he was performing for us.

The shoot started off at Francine and Joey’s home, and continued outside and to the Grandparent’s home. Some of those photos are priceless! There is one of Reid and his Grandpa that is soo cute!! We then continued outside to a set of swings that Francine owned as a little girl. Now, how cool is that for location and signifigance? We had a really great time capturing these precious moments.

Family – Jenny, Jeremy, Annie and Etush

Jenny and Jeremy invited us to their home to photograph their daughter and son, Annie and Etush. The whole family were great to work with, and Annie and Etush were like little models for us, making it easy for us to photograph them. There are lots of photos of them playing together and having a good time, but some of our favorites were photos of Annie hugging Etush hard. She sure loves her big brother. Too cute! It really shows how close this family is.

Baby Bumps – Jenny & Danny

A great couple, a little one on the way, and a couple of fantastic dogs made for a great photo shoot on this beautiful Fall day. We had the pleasure of photographing Jenny and Danny just a few weeks before the due date of their little girl, who ended up coming a few days early. It’s amazing looking through maternity photos knowing that, as of right now, the the little one who was once a “baby bump” is actually a little person. Huge congratulations to Jenny and Danny on their newest addition!! Welcome to the world, Brooklyn.

Family – Lambert

John contacted us to do some fall photos of his family. The Lamberts were great sports and the shoot went without a hitch. We hit the playground, took a walk in the leaves, Bert and Ernie even dropped by for a visit! Aiden was adorable and cheery and really brightened our day.

Wedding – Cleary

It may have rained on this wedding, but it definently didn’t put a damper on the day. I absolutely loved the ceremony at the Moravian Church, it was so intimate and inviting, just the perfect place to get married. We had big plans for photos after the wedding, but due to the rain we all had to do a little improvising, but the end result turned out just as excellent (if not more)! The reception area was decorated so beautiful, with little fall themed details everywhere, and it made for the perfect location for some photos.
