Little Ones – Ella & Friends

31 Aug

We did a photo shoot a little while back and I have to say it was the most fun we had in a long time.

Tonya contacted us to do a photo shoot with her daughter Ella and her friends Taylor and Ava. Tonya and Ella are moving soon, and they wanted some photos to remember their friends with. It was a low energy week for us to start, but when we got together with this group of girls, everything changed. Their energy was through the roof, and contagious. By the end of the shoot, we were practically hopping around with happiness and joy. So. Much. Fun!

We started in the back yard going from trampoline, to swings and slides and everywhere in between, and ended with just Tonya and Ella on the beach in North West River. It was a calm and lovely evening out there, and we think the strong mother- daughter bond came through in the photos. Just beautiful.

Thank you contacting us, Tonya. We are so glad you asked us to help capture some memories for you and Ella.

Itsy Bitsy One – Chloe

You don’t really have to say much when it comes to baby photos, they pretty much speak for themselves. Their little eyes are full of wonder, and their ears, nose and fingers scream cuteness. A baby photo alone speaks a thousand words.

Thank you, Krista, for inviting us to shoot your new family.

Wedding – Toni & Bernard

23 Aug

This was our first wedding of the 2010 wedding season and that makes Toni and Bernard our first Sedna Bride & Groom! Their wedding was filled with everything you could imagine when you think about a wedding: a beautiful bride and groom, feelings of anticipation and excitement, heartfelt moments and tears, laughter, family and friends, love…. a soccer field, a classic motorhome…

Bernard’s dad acquired an old motorhome recently, and Bernard decided to use this vehicle to  cart everyone around while we went from location to location to shoot photos. When he told us his idea, we immediately thought it was brilliant and it sounded like a lot of fun. It also had an awesome sounding horn! The motorhome turned out to be ideal, and we even used it to our advantage by climbing on top of it when we stopped at a local soccer field for a few fun  group photos. It was the best way we could think of to shoot these fun and meaningful photos. Toni and Bernard actually met each other through soccer and fell in love. They still play the game, and they’ve been in love ever since.

The day turned out to be a perfect one. We can’t describe how much love these two people are surrounded by. They have great people around them, are deeply in love and we wish them all the best. They make a fantastic couple.

Toni and Bernard – thank you! Thank you for asking us to shoot your wedding. Thank you for being so relaxed and kind. We are really happy for you and your families, and we wish you all the best.
